Dear friends, family, colleagues, admirers, haters, ex-girlfriends, and e-stragglers:
Apologies for not posting new content for the last few months. In October, I finally was able to secure a new pad, with the help of some family members. This will be a place where I can get some serious work done, amidst some peace a quiet and away from an abuser. My mental state has improved substantially, thank you! I hope to now get on with the conclusions of my extensive work: On The Exaltation of Mars.
Of course, the way my life goes, something “big” always has to happen in any October when I move, as it did in 2017 in Vegas (which is a big, forthcoming chapter in the Mars Exaltation stuff). This time it was Hamas and their brutal incursions into Negev – the Al-Aqsa Flood operation.
I’ve been highly critical of Israel over the decades, and basically for the same reasons I am critical of the USA and colonialism in general – the brutal and heartless treatment of people under the guise of “religion.” If that makes me “anti-Semitic,” well, whatever, I don’t really give a **** anymore. When it comes to Israel, ya just can’t win.
But that doesn’t mean I have a special dislike for Jewish people. In fact, I am thankful for the many Jewish friends I have, who I think are excellent people, and from whom I have learned much. I also don’t know what my life would be like without Bob Dylan, Geddy Lee, and Woody Allen, not to mention Michelle Young.
In any event, there is much astrology to discuss when it comes to Israel, Zionism, and the current debacle. I am, first and foremost, an historian, but a special kind that looks into the use of astrology in history. I’m also an avowed atheist, and that gives means I see all religions as up for criticism.
Some of this historio-religio-astrology that is now dominating the headlines is actually part of the whole punchline of On The Exaltation of Mars, so I’ve decided to just lay it out here for the sake of timeliness. Given what I’ve seen coming out of the astrology community recently, there is a vast ignorance about the astrology of the groups that are making headlines these days, and while I don’t claim to know everything, the path of discovery has brought us here: there is a sacred, hidden astrology in the inner sanctum of Judaism, and it needs to be demystified. I hope this gentile can do it without pissing off too many more people.
With that in mind, here we go!
Where to Begin?
The first problem in any astrological understanding of the Palestine/Israel trouble is figuring out where we can have a proper starting point. I’ve noticed that, online, anyone trying to do any astrology about the current situation simply goes straight to the “chart for Israel” and then maybe also the “Chart for the Palestinians,” which are from 1948 and 1988, respectively.
But, is this approach in any way realistic in terms of history? Israel didn’t just pop up one day out of the aether. It was a creation of people who had sought to create it for 50+ years (at least) beforehand. As for the Palestinians who are now living as non-citizens of Israel in what are basically occupied territories, is there really a chart that represents them, or some kind of internationally recognized legal entity where they can exercise “State” powers like any other recognized autonomous country on the globe?
What exactly is “Israel” and what exactly is “Palestine”? Are they mutually exclusive things? After all, Israel didn’t just stumble into existence, and Palestine as a name-place can be traced back well into ancient history, well before Solomon was a gleam in his father’s eye.
Israel is an intentionally crafted “State” that was designed to be a an armed vassal for a larger group of people – Zionists. The impetus for this is quite reasonable on the surface. Jews, “People of the Book,” were minorities everywhere they lived, be it in Europe, Africa, Asia, or the Western Hemisphere. As such these people were discriminated against, often harshly and violently, and had few rights as denizens of whatever realm they wandered into.
I won’t trudge through the history of where the Hebrews were at what time in history, though it is safe to say that between the “Exodus” from Egypt and decimation of Judea by the Roman Empire, there was, with some interregnums and diasporas, a stable and long-term rooting in Jerusalem, and territories in every direction. History is clear: The Hebrews had a homeland in that area for many centuries.
Thus, it was only natural that the Zionist movement wanted to claim some of that back as a place “…where Jews an practice their faith openly and securely.” Of course, the problem was that there were already well-established non-Jewish cultures in that area for centuries by the time the modern Zionist movement started in the late 1800’s.
So, the trick was, how to align the return – the New Judea – with the ancient temporal Judean realm. Should Israel be a theocracy, or should it somehow be a secular state that operates under the rubric of a long-abused minority? Would astrology come into play here? Of course it would, because it was always about the astrology – the communion of the earth and the heavens, the people and the gods. There was never a shortage of astrology in the ancient Near East, from well before the Bronze Age collapse, through the Golden Age of Islam, and up to the current moment.
B’nai B’rith – Jewish Secret Society
The main focus of On The Exaltation of Mars is to make the case for a certain kind of observed and ritual astrology in the Western “Judeo-Christian” version of civilization. This astrology has been kept largely under wraps, but through an extensive and exhausting historical analysis of important events, a pattern has emerged (thus the name of the blog – Emersion), and the circumstantial proof has become quite clear.
Chapter 4.8, which has yet to be finished, explores the Knights Templars and what they were up to in the years 1118 and 1119. Much of that early Templar history is murky, and scant reliable historical accounts have come down to us, but we do know that in 1119, the Templars set up shop in, what were by then, the ruins of the old Temple of Solomon in Jerusalem.
Much more is known about the demise of the Templars, from 1307-14, with the central date of infamy being October 13, 1307. This is the day that the Templars were rounded up by a French Monarch named Philip the Fair, mostly in Paris but also in other locales, putting a de facto end to the Order.
So, while we don’t know the actual date of the intraparty creation of the knighthood that would eventually be known as the Knights Templar, we do know the date of their biggest disaster. And, we also know that this disaster date became a sort of code for a re-emergent quasi-secret society (actually, societies) that would continue to – and this is my conclusion – keep the Holy Land in Western hands.
That wasn’t an easy task, of course, as the Crusaders were only able to keep the Holy Land, or “Outremer,” for less than 200 years before it all ended up right back in Muslim hands. The wresting back of Palestine from the Ottoman Empire in the Great War is what led to the modern State of Israel being created, as well as other Arab nations such as Jordan and Iraq.
During the Muslim era, there were still Jews living in those lands, as well as Christians, and they were tolerated by the Ottomans. In the meantime, Judaism in Europe had established itself in almost every region, through migrations and also religious conversions. This, of course, led to Jews emigrating to the New World, and establishing small communities in the colonies and the USA. This is how we get to B’nai B’rith, the Jewish secret society and benevolent group formed on October 13, 1843. (It wasn’t called that from day one, but called itself that a short time later.) I’m unaware of what time of day this society was agreed upon, but here is a noon chart for the event:

A few things bear mentioning here. This was the year before Neptune was discovered, and so, if this was an elective chart, that planet, and Pluto, would not be listed. The fact that Pluto, in retrospect, ends up opposite the stellium in Libra, which is conjunct the fixed star Spica (“Spi” @ 21°39′ Libra in the outer ring), and is also square to Saturn in Capricorn, could and should be astrologically debated, but not now.
We do know that this secret society was created by members of Freemasonic lodges. Freemasons had Jewish membership from the beginning, as the only requisite for asking to join was to be a believer in God. In fact, it could be argued that Freemasonic lodges were designed to bolster fraternal contact between Christians and Jews – something that could not be achieved in the Christian church.
Still, B’nai B’rith was limited to Jews.
Obviously it was not an accident that this group came together officially on an October 13, to symbolize a connection to the Templars’ mission of securing the Temple complex and the holy sites of the Old City. This prompts a question that needs to be asked here, and then left to ripen: was the original group of Templars in any way Jewish?
We historically think of the Templars as a strictly Christian entity, but was the average layperson and priest of 11th Century Christendom really all that interested in taking the Holy Land as part of the Papal empire? I highly doubt it. In fact, the Holy Land was basically left to decay by the Byzantine rulers, as they had created a Christian capital of their own in Constantinople, and had no real longing to keep Jerusalem in the fray. That was the land of the people who rejected Jesus, and the Roman Empire was the land of the people who championed Jesus.
Yet, some people in Europe were very interested in wresting Palestine back from the Muslims, and this is what should be kept in mind as we journey through the astrology of Zionism. I will say right here:
The original Zionists were the Crusaders, and more specifically, the Knights Templars.
Back to the chart, we also see that there is a Sun/Saturn square, almost perfect, with perfection taking place around 7 AM local time. Where else in our mundane gallery of political charts do we find such a tidy Sun/Saturn square? The answer, of course, are two places:
1) the Grand Lodge of England, June 24, 1717 OS, and
2) the US Declaration of Independence, July 4, 1776.

Thus, one more bit of evidence for ritual “elective” astrology here is this Sun/Saturn square. And if that wasn’t enough, the USA chimes in again with another event, that of the laying of the cornerstone of the White House itself in 1792 … on October 13. (October 13 of 1792 is 300 years plus one calendar day of the date of Christopher Columbus’ “discovery” of the “New World.”) None of this is accidental, nor even coincidental. If we know anything about the Freemasons, they were obsessed with astrology. Likewise, the Jewish community was also well-versed in astrology. Astrology was the key to everything – the synchronistic connections between the heavens and the earth were the very means of understanding the interactions between god and humans. As such, to incorporate wise astrology is to honor God’s creation of time and space, and to honor and build upon the sacred timeline of history itself. “As above, so below,” is wisdom from Jewish mysticism; “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, On earth as it is in heaven” is the creed of the Christian.
“Creation” and Anno Mundi
The Hebrew year count is a good place to start, though the task of calculating and back-dating the Torah and establishing a year count was an effort by Rabbi Yose ben Halafta during ~160 CE in the book Seder Olam Rabbah. This count became a standard in the 12th Century. From the Wikipedia:

This chronological reckoning gives us two central astrology charts to observe:
1) The new moon that begins the “year of emptiness,” and
2) The creation of Adam and Eve.
nb: Moon positions in charts for 5000+ years ago are impossible to calculate with an accuracy of less than a few degrees of longitude, even with computers and the best NASA ephemeris, due to the unknowns of Delta T. The positions calculated by Solar Fire may be off by a tad from what the actual position was for an observer in the fourth millennium BCE.
The modern Hebrew calendar is basically a soli-lunar calendar, where the first day of the month is also the new Moon. This is not to be confused with other soli-lunar calendars where the first day of the month is the same as the first visible crescent of the new Moon. Also, the “day” in the Hebrew world begins at sunset, rather than midnight, and goes to the next sunset.
ben Halafta concluded that there was a new Moon in the 15th degree of tropical Virgo in the proleptic Julian calendar year of 3761 BC, and this is the chart:

I included my usual array of fixed stars on the outer ring, as star positions would have been of prime importance to the chronology. We need to keep in mind that this was the early years of the Age of Taurus, and thus the tropical zodiacal position of fixed stars may seem a bit strange. For instance, Regulus is at 10°42′ of Gemini, the Pleiades are in Pisces, and the Galactic Center is in Libra.
The fixed star “Gra” that is conjunct the new moon is Graffias, the bright star in the “head” of the Scorpion. Thus, the creation of the pre-creation chaos was in Scorpio. Just above that, we see Saturn aligned with “ZES” and Mercury with “ZEG,” which are the fixed stars Zubeneschamali and Zubenelgenubi, respectively – the stars of Libra, though formerly the “claws” of the scorpion figure. I find this to be very interesting as the exaltation of Saturn is in Libra. We also notice Venus within one degree of the fixed star Vega.
I included the three modern planets of Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto for reference, but those were unknown to anyone in the second century.
As I mentioned earlier, the position of the moon for 3671 BCE could not be calculated with any kind of serious precision by anyone in the second century, but, depending on how astute the mathematician was, the position could have been within maybe three degrees of this one. So, we should not take the angles of this chart as the gospel truth. (It would also be difficult for anyone in the early 19th Century as well, for that matter.)
However, back-calculating planetary positions with precision was much easier, and it’s safe to say that ben Halafta could have known about these planet-star conjunctions.
Here is the chart above, but calculated with the Fagan-Allen fixed zodiac, sans the new planets:

The Creation of Humanity: Adam and Eve
The Hebrew chronology that gives us the Anno Mundi year count puts the creation of Adam and Eve on the first “New Year” – the first Rosh Hashanah – a date equivalent to proleptic September 26, 3760 BC. The chart for this mythological event is the important one in this quest to understand the charts of modern Judaism and Israel. This chart is given next, cast for sunset, with the Sun on the descendant, in the tropical zodiac:

This is where things get interesting. Firstly, we can see that all the planets are within less than 60° of arc, and only Mars is the outlier of what is a six-planet stellium. Secondly, the Sun and Jupiter are exactly conjunct, and Saturn is also within 4°. So, the creation of people was on a day when a new moon (conjunction of the masculine Sun and feminine Moon) was conjunct the Great Chronocrators: the Chronocrators masters of time itself in the old astrology. This is a remarkable chart, no doubt, and surely the astrology was fundamental in the chronological schemata of ben Halafta.
What other important chart has a Sun-Jupiter conjunction? One that was mentioned above: The Grand Lodge of England.
Also of note is the conjunction of Mercury and Venus. More on that pairing in conjunctions later.
Here is the same chart, but with the fixed zodiac:

This chart, as it is based only on a sun position, could have been calculated with high accuracy in terms of planetary positions other than the Moon, and so we can take the angles a bit more seriously, especially for anyone using more precision ephemerides of the 18th and 19th Century. However, even 1800 years ago, a back-dated horoscope like this would have been only a wild dream in terms of accuracy. But, what would have not been a dream was the fact that the Sun and Jupiter were basically square to the two stars that mark the exaltation of Mars – Deneb Algedi and Sadalsuud.
And if those two stars are near the top of a chart, we must know that Cygnus, the Northern Cross, would be near the zenith. Sky Map Pro confirms this, as can be seen here:

This, then, is the actual punchline of On The Exaltation of Mars, leading us back to the Pope resigning on the day when the Sun was at the exaltation of Mars, the Vatican becoming a state on the day when the Sun was at the exaltation of Mars, and why those original Zionists, the Knights Templars, chose 1119 AD to take up residence in the Second Temple, and so on, etc, etc, etc.
Contrary to what modern astrology puts forth as the important historical constellations and points, the actual historically most-important part of the heavens are the nexus of Capricorn and Aquarius, and their alignment to Cygnus.
This will become even more clear as we look into the charts for Zionism in Part II and beyond, because Zionism had to build on the historical astrological framework to be (for lack of a better term) kosher. And no matter how anyone feels about Judaism and/or Zionism, there is no doubt the astrological framework is pure genius. “As above, so below” is the wisdom of Jewish mysticism and the Zohar, but the trick is always in the execution, and for that, there needs to be some damn good astrological work.
Before we conclude, a brief note on Moon positions … the following sky map is a closeup of the stellium in the chart above. The Sun is the yellow thing, on the horizon, next to Jupiter. Sky Map Pro puts the Moon (the gray circle) a few degrees beyond Antares, whereas Solar Fire (above) puts it about a degree before Antares.

Okay, now you put all this together it’s fascinating
Do you have Ceres in your software? I am wondering where she is in all of these charts. When/if I get time I will look š
I’m just getting started, and both Solar Fire and Sky Map Pro have the ephemerides for Ceres, but I’ll leave that up to you because I have enough to worry about. Having said that, Ceres, a an agricultural goddess, should have contingent affinities with both Saturn and Spica.
I was just thinking out loud as I am writing a book on Ceres
More than an agricultural Goddess though but I did already say ‘When/if I get time I will look š’
Onto part 2!
