In this chapter, we will look at events that resonate with the underlying thesis of Mars’ exaltation. The central thesis of the study of geo-cosmic cycles known as astrology, or “why it works,” is that we can glean future events by looking at past patterns. Some of these items will be brief, and some will be extensive.

The ancients from the Middle East were keen on cycles, though they also thought the sky could be divided up in zones (signs, houses) that would colour whatever planet was passing through.

In this book’s look at ritual astrology, we are more interested in the alignments of stellar objects with localized events that are “elected,” as in planned and timed.
