On The Exaltation of Mars – Chapter 6.3 – The Moon’s Exaltation and the Pleiades

A very astute astrologer asked (on Facebook), “Maybe the Moon’s exaltation was based on Algol and not the Pleiades?” I can’t recall the lad’s name, but it’s a good question, as Algol’s fixed (Fagan-Allen) ecliptic longitude is about 1°30′ distant from 3° Taurus, a tad closer than Alcyone’s longitude.

However, the answer, is no. It’s all about the Pleiades. Well, almost all. An analysis and conclusion follows…
