Last week, I laid out a case for the Washington National Cathedral’s foundation stone setting as a Sun-Jupiter return of the hypothetical birth of Jesus on September 26 of 3 BC.
That hypothetical horoscope is based on a plethora of assumptions, one being that Jupiter was very close to the fixed star Regulus – the heart of Leo the Lion – in 3 BC. There is more to this hypothesis, such as the particular date – September 26 – featuring the Moon rising with, and occulting, the Pleiades, but in terms of the WNC, we are only interested in the fact that the Sun and Jupiter returned, more or less, to the same places in the zodiac for the foundation stone, or cornerstone, ceremony on September 29 of 1907 AD.
How could anyone be sure that the Sun and Jupiter will return to the same place after so many centuries? The “Goal-Year” value for Jupiter tells us that every 83 years, Sun and Jupiter will return to their original places, with a slight margin of error. If we subtract the number of years from 1907 AD to 3 BC, we get 1909 years (there was no year 0 AD, thus 3 BC in astronomy is labeled as “-2”), and 1907 – -2 = 1909. From there, it’s simple:
1909 = 83 × 23
As both 83 and 23 are prime numbers, there are no other ways to get to 1909 with multiplying integers, and so we are at the crux of the math, pun intended.
HOWEVER, that’s not all there is to it. When we go to our trusty astrology software (Solar Fire) and do an actual solar return for the Jesus horoscope, we also find that Mars has also returned to its original position as well, and to within one half of one degree, far more accurate than the 3 degrees Jupiter has drifted:

We know Mars has two Goal-Year values: 47 and 79. Those are also prime numbers, and neither will divide nicely into 1909. Yet, we have a Sun return accompanying a Mars return, and this needs to be explained. The answer is that both values are in play, but they must conform to this equation:
79x + 47y = 1909
The only answer to that is:
I guess we could call this a “Composite Goal-Year Value” or a “Complex Goal-Year Value.” This curious Mars astromath begs the question, yet again: were those Episcopal Church muckety-mucks of 5 generations ago also doing some heavyweight astrology? Did they have that kind of time on their hands? Were they trying to outdo the Jesuits? Or, was there always a sub-rosa astrological tradition in the Church that was kept close to the vest and away from the vestibule? If so, what are we really worshiping in Christianity – a real historical savior, or the ancient planetary deities?
Those Mars positions are very close to Mars’ exaltation value of 28° Capricorn, and this blog has shown how the exaltation of Mars is directly connected to the constellation Cygnus – the Northern Cross. The plans of all Gothic cathedrals are a cruciform shape:
It is important to remember that the Gothic era began right after the Crusades – an era that all but ended the so-called Dark Ages.
It sure seems like this cannot be mere coincidence, but, then again, the planetary time lords work in mysterious ways….
