On the Exaltation of Mars – Chapter 4.4 – A Dove or a Swan, Plus the Astonishing Star

In chapter 4.3 I put forth the thesis that a SuperMars cycle is encoded in Rosslyn Chapel, through the date of its founding as a “Collegiate Church,” dedicated to St. Matthew on his holy day of September 21, 1450, due to 1450 being a year with a very bright Mars, or SuperMars.

Furthermore, the chapel’s vaulted ceiling contains a section adorned with 80 stars, of which 8 alternate figures appear in places where stars should be, giving us a total of 88 figures. Within this I contend that a certain kind of numerology is present that alludes to the SuperMars cycle – what I am calling a Mavortial Cycle.
